Care
Every KYENARI piece is made to order and finished by hand, so please allow 2–3 weeks for yours to be created. A little care, and the right size from the start, keeps it looking beautiful for years. If anything ever feels off, message me and we’ll sort it together.
Finding your ring size
Your ring is cast to the size you give us, so it’s worth taking a quiet minute to check before we begin.
How to measure
- Use a ring that already fits the finger you’ll wear yours on.
- Measure the inside diameter in millimetres (straight across the centre).
- Match it to the chart below, or send me a photo of your measurement and I’ll help.
Don’t have a ring that fits?
- Wrap a thin strip of paper or string snugly around your finger (comfortable, not tight).
- Mark where it meets, then measure that length in millimetres. That’s the inside circumference.
- Measure at the end of the day, when fingers are usually a touch larger.
- If you’re between sizes, especially with a wider band, message me before we cast.

When in doubt, message me before we start. It’s much easier to confirm size up front than to remake later, and I’m always happy to help.
Looking after your piece
Everyday wear
- Put jewellery on last: after perfume, sunscreen, and hair products.
- Take it off for swimming, heavy workouts, and sleeping if the setting sits high.
- Store pieces separately so they don’t scratch each other.
Metals
Vermeil (sterling silver with a gold layer) needs a gentle clean only. Use a soft cloth; mild soapy water if needed; dry fully. Avoid harsh chemicals, chlorine, and long soaks. They wear the gold layer faster.
9k gold is more resilient day to day. A soft cloth is usually enough. For a deeper clean, use mild soapy water and dry well.
Gemstones
Harder stones (for example peridot, white topaz, and many faceted gems): soft cloth; mild soapy water; dry thoroughly. Skip ultrasonic cleaners unless I’ve said that stone is fine with them.
Softer or porous stones (opal, moonstone, and similar): extra gentle. Wipe with a soft dry or barely damp cloth. Avoid soaking, chemicals, perfume on the stone, and sudden temperature changes.
If anything feels loose, stop wearing it if you can, and message me with a photo. Catching a wobbly stone early usually means a simple reset rather than a lost stone.
If something doesn’t feel right
Handmade, made-to-order pieces aren’t like high-street returns. If something isn’t right, message me first with a couple of clear photos, and a short video if a stone is moving. I’ll tell you the next step as soon as I’ve looked.
Loose or fallen stone
- Stop wearing the piece if you can.
- Keep any loose stone safe.
- Send photos or a short video.
- I’ll check with the studio and confirm what happens next.
Wrong size
- Message me with the size you ordered and what feels off (too tight, spins, won’t pass the knuckle).
- We’ll look at the options together.
- Please don’t force a ring that doesn’t fit. Better we sort it properly.
